I think for me, having not really had any morning sickness, or felt bad (apart from being tired), I called it the 'phantom pregnancy'... even the little butterfly's, or tickles that I use to get, were just kinda cute and funny..... that is, until Boj started to kick and punch!!!!
I first felt Boj on the 5th of August... hopping into bed, just relaxing, and my stomach just went...'poof' (lol... can't find a word to describe it acurately). I put my hand on my belly, and felt it another few times!!!
Ronnie was out, so he missed it :-( and the next time I felt Boj, I called him over, but only got 1 kick/punch (not sure which end... lol)...
BUT... then, Thursday 12th August... in bed, i felt another kick, and grabbed Ronnie's hand..... next second... poof again.... his finger went flying in the air... so only a little one, but he felt it! The look on Ronnie's face was just priceless!! Words can't adequately explain the joy on his face.
On Tuesday 17th August, I felt a HUGE kick.... grabbed Ronnie's hand again... sat there for a minute, and then his whole hand moved!!! Kick/Punch... "Daddy, i'm here"..... was right when we were watching a baby documentary, so Boj must have liked it!

19 Week Ultrasound
29th July 2010
What an exciting day again.... lunch-time ultrasound, and we met Ronnie's mum at the ultrasound clinic.
BUSTING again... dont like this full bladder thing! lol , especially when they know you do, and i reckon press harder with the ultrasound dopler!! lol
P.s. they need to make longer beds for tall people... my feet fall off the end of the bed that I have to go on for the ultrasound!
So we are there, me laying, Ronnie and his mum standing next to the bed. Chris had a prime spot, got to see the tv screen, plus the screen that the person doing the ultrasound sees.
This ultrasound was really just making sure that everything was measuring right, doing the brain, skull, lips, stomach, checking the heart and the veins, the bones.

The most cute thing was the spine and the little bum.... seeing the legs, hands, feet...
Ronnie reckons that Boj's feet look huge.. but we asked, and they are all in size with the rest of Boj's body, so still to determine whether it will be a tall or short baby.....

Beat... beat...beat.. beat
There is nothing like the sound of Boj's heart beat... beat... beat.. beat. Very good friends of mine - Sarah & Damo have lent us their dopler, so we can hear Boj whenever we like.
I lay there, as Ronnie puts the headphones on his ears, and with a serious face, moves the dopler aroundto see what he can hear.. generally it's my heart beat first, and then... SMILE :-)
Ronnie's face changes and the grin is amazing when he has found our Boj's heart beat... beat... beat... beat.... then it is my turn to listen.
Boj has been moving though.. the other night it was over near my left side, and last night, over on my right.... but gives us something to hear with while Boj is cooking, and it is So SO amazing!!!

Learning we had a Boj!!!
We first got a 'hint' of a possible Boj on my birthday - 29th April... when realising that it had been a while since the 'painters' (as Ronnie puts it) lol.... so got a test on my way to work.... 2 lines...
The second line had been faint though, so i just thought that the test was faulty, after all, PCOS was meant to make the possibility of Boj nearly impossible naturally. So got another test.... same result... you can image the heart start going now....
Took them home for Ronnie to see, but also got 2 more just to check. The following day, took them, and the same... and I was starting to feel a little queazy, but any 'normal' person would probably have just told me that it was nerves and excitement!! hahaha
1st May - went to the doctors to get a blood test done, which we would get the next day, so a very anxious wait and overnight.
2nd May - we went in the afternoon, waited like an hour - just for results... its crazy... the doctor who reminded me of the fat controller from Thomas the Tank engine called us in, and then pulled up my file.... all i could hear was my heart beat, and i was gripping Ronnie's hand. He pulled it up, and "Congratulations, you're expecting".... beat...beat..beat..beat.... I swear Ronnie stopped breathing, and I had to turn to him and say "babe, breathe"...... We were going to be parents!!!!
How could we go back home and not let this surprise out of the bag?? Not have grins from ear to ear and spill, when it hadn't even sunk in yet... solution = have a night out just us! Spa bath and KFC and talking about baby names..... but still amazing to think that there was something else inside me...
6th May - our 1 year anniversary!! And knowing that on our next anniversary, we would have a baby!! CRAZY!!!!
13th May - our first ultrasound, or 'dating scan' ... nervous as anything... lay down on the bed, the lady put the dopler on my stomach, the screen facing us, and WHAM... there is was! Straight away, she didnt have to move it, nothing. Turned the sound on... and heart beat... beat..beat..beat... 170 beats per minute!!!! and it was fluttering, you could see the heart cylinder flash, that was it beating!!! WOW!!!! I even cried! It just looked like a jelly bean though... head, and thats it!! lol...The ultrasound lady had to get me a tissue! Size of the Boj = good. Heartbeat = good, EDD = 22/12/2010!! Our little Christmas wish!!!!
9th June - 2nd Ultrasound - or the First Trimester ultrasound - with a full bladder..... needed to pee SO badly!!! Different lady this time, but the same, as soon as she put the dopler on... there was our Boj!! Heart beat... 156 check!!! Moving = check!! You should have seen it move!!! Ronnie was holding my hand, and was like "WOW... can you feel that"... but nope, it was just having fun moving around in my 'bucket uterus'! lol.... blaming that on my tallness!! hahaha . Everything was perfect!! Boj had the soles of its feet touching together, and its hand up near its head resting. Could see the heart going again, and just the constant movements! A totally amazing experience!!!!
7th July - after a few days of Boj bump here, gone, here, gone, it has stayed out!!! Sitting comfortably between lots of excess skin (loosing 85kg can do that to you), but it's there!! And the flutterbys have been going off!! One side, then the other, then back, so little Boj is playing!!!! Seems so long now to wait till the next ultrasound - the 28th of July!!! come on July!!! And our little Boj!! xxx

Boj Bump!!!
Well the Boj bump has arrived!!!! :-D so very very exciting!!
So now we have another date to keep for memories... much better now than when it appeared the other day and then went... little Boj must have been moving around, but its now been back for 2 days!! So lets just wait to see it get bigger!! hehe....
